Howwould you handle this situation if you were Superman?

Let's say Metropolis is having an intense rainstorm. You're out doing your Superman thing and helping people out when suddenly you hear what sounds like an extremely loud locomotive. Because it's raining so hard, you use your X-Ray vision. That's when you see that an extremely powerful tornado over 2 miles wide has just touched down is on a collision course with the city. Using your powers, what would you do to try and stop it?|||Since tornados are created by heated air rapidily spiralling upward while colder air rapidly spirals down, one that is over two miles wide could only be generated artificially. Some means of control is either superheating the ground level air or superfreezing the upper atmosphere (or both). Using all of his senses, I'm sure he'd be able to trace the source of this control and neutralize it.

Of course, a supertornado wouldn't just stop on a dime just because its plug was pulled.

Flying in a fast loop, perpendicular to the ground (but inside the walls of the twister) would do two things. 1) It would quickly mix the temperatures of the hot and cold air into neutrality, and 2) create a wind barrier inside the existing twister that would break up its integrity.|||I would make a tornado and collide with it so I can go inside and throw it in space|||Either use super breath to blow it the other way, or super speed to run or fly around it to stop the rotation.
