How is superman Stronger than the hulk?

Me and a friend are debating. I say Superman can beat hulk. But he being a Marvel fan boy he says Hulk can beat Superman easily! Can anyone explain why Superman would win?|||The Hulk's abilities are powered by strong emotion, mostly anger. His powers increase as his anger increases. Thus, to use his abilities, Hulk must be angry. Anger has one very strong side-effect, it clouds your judgment and interferes with logical thought. This being applied, the Hulk would be unable to think logically in battle, stopping him from strategizing. Even if Hulk is stronger than Superman (safely assuming that Superman has at least average if not moderately high intelligence) he has the ability to strategize around this weakness.


This is the same theory that allows Batman top win ANY fight with a superpowered being.





In summary, Superman wins because he can build a strategy to use Hulk's strength against him. The bigger they are the harder they fall.





Some additional notes:


Superman is incredibly fast, only just slower than the super-speeders like Flash. The Hulk has a harder time moving and tends to lumber around due to his large size.


Superman can take a bullet to the eye - meaning, he is durable inside and out. While the Hulk has a thicker skin, it may be assumed that his internal organs are of average durability and not bullet-stopping strong - as we have not been told otherwise.





If it got serious and Superman and Hulk called their Super Friends to help them out, Superman's team outnumbers Hulk's with the Justice League having 7-8 members (Superman, Batman, Green Lantern, Martian Manhunter, Flash, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, and Hawkgirl [depending on which version - Aquaman is often switched with Hawkgirl] ) and the Avengers only having 5 (Ant-Man, Wasp, Thor, Iron Man, and the Hulk) .

How is hulk going to exploit superman's weaknesses? You realize hulk cannot rotate a planet. Superman is towing (let us use the mass of the earth as an example which is a small planet keep in mind and 13 of those planets hes towing and not counting the mass of the chain) we come up with a towing mass of 77,664,600,000,000,000,000,000,000 kilograms (seventy-seven septillion,

six hundred sixty-four sextillion six hundred quintillion kilograms). the most the hulk has ever held is 136,077,711,000,000 kilograms. Which was his 150 billion ton mountain he held up. So superman was moving across the universe roughly 571 BILLION times more mass than the hulk held up. For anyone that wants to claim that there is no air resistance in space therefore its not that much for superman to pull....take some physics.|||Rotating a planet...?

Is just a use of strength!



It really comes down to vulnerabilities.



Supes-Kryptonite (GREEN, but red, black and blue also alter the aliens dna) %26amp; Magic (any kind)



Hulk-.........(anything would just make him more mad and more powerful!!!)



My verdict? The Jade Giant.



I didn't know they were having a weight lifting contest. Superman's weaknesses always get explioted. DD killed him without exploiting any. He used strength! Name 1 exploitable weakness of the Hulk. His anger will cloud his judgment? Seriously? That's it? Two words. Lois. Lane. (talk about clouded judgement!) Oh yeah, The Avengers do have a god on their team!



Hulk wins again!|||Hate to break it to you but in DC continuity this fight basically already happened (they used a hulk replacement named doomsday, may have heard of him)





The end result... Superman "died". That's a definite loss.|||he can fly away. shoot lasers with his eyes. he's just as strong as the hulk. he's impenetrable and was created to pretty much beat everyone. ever. his only weekness is kryptonite. so superman wins every time.|||I would have to say the Hulk, just because he's enormous and could snap Superman like a twig ;)|||Im a comic book fan and i think superman wud totaly win. :)
