Is there any chance at all of Tom Welling playing Superman in a movie?

I mean like a summer blockbuster. I don't want to see anyone else play him. I know they don't want people to see it as a Smalliville continuation but anyone who is has minimal brain function will know that it is a Superman movie and not a a Smallville movie.

Will he wear the cape halfway through the season, so we can see a few adventures with him as Superman?





Or will we only see him as Superman in the final seconds?





I'm sure the very final episode will be very high rated. They should give the last 5 episodes the blockbuster treatment. A show that has lasted 10 years deserves it.

And because it's a reboot, that doesn't mean Tom can't be in it. He is by far the best person to play Superman/Clark Kent, as he has do so for the past 10 years.
