Don't Superman's powers only work under a yellow Sun only?
Or at least i thought so...
Thank You|||Very simple. Superman is basically like a battery. He needs the Sun to charge him, but he can be away from it for awhile, and still have his powers. Also I believe that Superman's powers START under a yellow sun, if I am not mistaken, suns that have a higher output, like the Blue Giants, increase his powers by double if not more.
Also, though I do not know the absolute answer to this, does not Apokolips have a yellow sun as well? It only looks the way it does because of all the crap that Darkseid has done to it.|||Apocalypse is a MARVEL villain,Apokalips is the planet in DC
not sure about the answer, can't find anything about the sun Apokolips has, they must have a sun, don't they?
and also Superman always retain some spare battery power in his body, yellow sunlight replenishes it,but taking away all the sun won't male him weak instantly|||Apokalips is the war planet ruled by Darksied. Apocalypse is from X-men, he's the first mutant ever born.
Anyway, I've always wondered this. I guess he stores a little juice in his cells.
Here's something else, though: When Superman battles Darksied, it's always a really tough fight. I'd kinda figure that he'd be drained really fast.|||@Unknown Guy it's Apokalips not Apocalypse it's a play on the real word :P
