If Superman were real should he be allowed to play in the NFL?

I have been arguing with my friends about this all day. If Superman were real should he be allowed to play in the NFL?|||Boy and I thought my life was dull!


Yes Superman should be allowed to play|||As it stands right now, there isn't a rule that would prevent him from playing.





I don't have a problem with him playing. Yes he has a huge advantage because of his powers, but all kinds of players have advantages over others. If we banned Superman from playing because he can leap the entire field of because he's super strong we'd have to ban receivers who were too tall, or RB's who were too fast, because it's an unfair advantage over the shorter/slower players.





I'm sure the league would make a rule banning him if he did exist. They say that only HUMANS (Superman is an alien) were allowed to play, or set a max for strength and speed testing. The league wouldn't be as profitable is Supes was playing. It's fun to watch because there is competition. If he played, every game would be a blowout in his favor. Put him on defense and he'd either strip the ball or intercept it every play. Put him on offense and he'd be the best running back ever. Make him a receiver and even Eli would be able to get him the ball, he'd just jump 10 feet up and catch it every time. People wouldn't want to watch the game anymore, the league would lose money and eventually they'd ban him.|||If Superman were real, then we more than likely wouldn't know he was a super hero. In the series Smallville, Clark kent played football in high school and never used his powers while playing football. He didn't hurt anyone on purpose but he did hurt one guy and they started questioning him. I do think he should be able to play football and I doubt we will be able to stop him nor would we know about his powers. Superman cares about people and would never do anything to hurt anyone.|||Could he control his powers well enough to try? Think about THAT. I don't think he would WANT to, because what if something happened during the game and he needed to get out of there? He wouldn't want everyone knowing who he is.
