Personally i don't think Henry has the look of superman. He doesn't have that look of innocence that all the previous superman's have had. Like Tom welling, chris reeve and brandon routh. This guy looks like Hawk man not superman. Personally they should of just stuck it out with Brandon again. They just needed a better storyline. So who else should be cast in the new superman? Lois lane? Lex luthor or any other villains? or actors from smallville?|||Honestly, I liked Brandon Routh. I liked Superman Returns. I know it had it's issues, main one being Kate Bosworth. But I thought Routh was superb. But, alas, we are not getting Routh back.
Henry Cavill seems to be a good fit. The look can be easily taken care of by make up. I trust Nolan and I have faith in what he has done and what he is going to do. Wish he was directing though....|||I agree with everything you have said, especially with the "innocent" look.
I hate the "Modern" Hollywood look that they're trying to give all of the superheroes. It's annoying. The superheroes are supposed to have that classic look, just like Chris Reeve had. It's true, the Henry guy, I'm not keen on. They should have just kept the previous guy.|||The best choice would have been Joe Manganiello. A close second would have been Jon Hamm. And the villain should be Doomsday! A villain that can make you believe Superman cannot win. So when he does it is that much sweeter. NO MORE LEX LUTHERS!!!!!!
